Product Description

Volcano Electric engineers aim to optimize the motor’s torque output during the design phase. The key components that generate motor torque are the magnets, windings, and magnetic flux paths. The energy content of the magnets determines the motor’s strength, but a balance must be struck between power and cost. Furthermore, the greater the number of pole pairs in the magnet, the greater the torque output for the same power dissipation. Volcano Electric engineers optimize the design based on the magnet’s physical size, energy content, pole pair number, and geometry.

The brushless DC motors are designed to maximize torque output while minimizing diameter and length. High-energy neodymium magnets provide the foundation for the torque density of this series of motors. High-capacity windings increase current density and electromagnetic intensity, minimizing Joule heating. The advanced airgap design requires less power to achieve high torque output, enabling the motor to operate at high efficiency.
