What is Permanent Magnet DC Motor
Permanent Magnet DC Motor, also can be said as brushless dc motor. Its rotor is surrounded by permanent magnet. It is not easy to lose magnetism, also not easy to be magnetized. This advantage of keeping magnetic makes the brushless dc motor have longer using life and less maintenance cost. The other advantage is that the volume of the magnet is smaller than the original magnetic field, and there is no loss and no heat. It means to provide same power, the permanent magnet dc motor will smaller and lighter about 30% than others. At the same time, with the same weight, same size, the permanent magnet dc motor can provide more than 50% output power than no permanent magnet one.
